Hood latch
Friday I opened my hood to check my oil and the pass side would not latch back when I closed the hood. After inspecting everything I saw the cable is not releasing the latch. I sprayed everything with lube and pulled on the latch, it released. Everything pulls easy but it keeps sticking open. Is this a common problem? It is not the latch it is something with the cable I think. Anyone else run across this issue?

Had a similar problem. Lube didn't fix it, but adjusting the position of the latch up slightly did. I assume my problem was due to the hood pad contacting the blower, but maybe yours is just a little low.
