I have what I thought and still have thoughts is a water pump failure. Coolant seems to just pour out of the pump but I cannot find a weep hole or exactly where it is coming from. It looks like it is coming from the main portion of the pumo itself but like I mentioned there is noweep hole to see this leak or explain it. I dont think its a head gasket but do have suspicions it could be a pumo gasket. Any thoughts? I went to look at brand new pumo and could not locate a weep hole on it either.
It sounds like a water pump failure. The leak you describe is typical of one. The last one I replaced was made in Canada.
Unless someone R&R'd the pump recently and somehow screwed up the gaskets or torquing it in the proper sequence?
A new pump is fairly cheap (guessing about $225 at Part Taxi etc?). Install isn't difficult with just some basic tools. You'll also need coolant and (2) new gaskets.
