Default LS9 Clutch

Anybody run the ls9 clutch in a normal c6? If so does anyone know the weight difference between it and the ls2?

I have not installed mine yet, but I've done the research and purchased the clutch. Here goes.

All weights are for flywheel+pressure plate+disk(s)

LS2 = 50 lbs.
LS7 = 57 lbs.
LS9 from 3 different vendors:
Katech (w/aluminum flywheel) = 49 lbs.
LPE (w/steel flywheel with holes around outer perimeter) = 56 lbs.
Zip Corvette (w/steel flywheel, solid without perimeter holes) = 62 lbs.

I weighed the Zip product myself. The other weights I either found elsewhere on the web or calculated out by knowing individual part weights. Hope this helps.

Oh, other thoughts... The ZR1 disks and pressure plate are 8.5" diameter compared to 12" on the stock clutch. This means the ZR1 clutch has more of its mass spinning in a smaller circle. I think this means a little more weight can be tolerated on the ZR1 without negative effect.
