Default Cam only ls2 dyno numbers!!!!

Graphs on page 2
just got my car redyno'd to see where she is at in this good weather and with my new headers. results 471rwhp and 434 rwtq. She could have put down more was rich on the dyno and didn't see any need to adjust it on the dyno when the afr is perfect on the street.

If you have a copy of your print out, you should post it!

Great sounding vette - I really miss my 2007 AO Coupe after watching that video. Awesome numbers.

Oh jeeze...the ignorant posts start already. You've seriously been a member for 5 years and you post something like that?

Cam only never has and never will mean literally "cam only" as that would be nearly impossible. You will never have a cam only car still using stock pushrods, springs or tune.

"Cam Only" means that the cam is the only internal motor modification and there are no power adders. Consider yourself educated on the subject now

You must not understand what Cam Only means in the LSx community then, because his setup is Cam Only.

Cam Only means no internal work done to the motor beside a Cam/Supporting mods for the Cam (I.e Springs, Push rods, etc)

I agree a "Cam Only" setup usually include hardened pushrods, upgraded valve springs and a tune. Heck, I'll even give you the Vararam CAI, ported TB and UD pulley. However, the addition of a FAST 102mm IM and 1 7/8" long tube headers begins to make that "Cam Only" claim.. a stretch, but to each their own.

"Cam Only" = Cam + 'Bolt on modifications'. This definition began long ago - way before FAST and others created aftermarket IMs for the LSx, which significantly increase horsepower/torque that can't be attributed to "Cam Only". Long tube headers are not legal in all 50 states, e.g., California, which is why I don't include LT headers in a "Cam Only" definition. Shorty headers count as "Bolt on" since they are 50 state legal.

Nice cam, very strong all over too, ask me how I know

Mine only put down 449/447 but I ended up needing longer push rods and a damn plug was acting up. Very good EPS cam, as you know

"Ignorant"? Wow, thats kinda strong.
different schools of thought on the topic. Been discussed and debated here for years. But surely you've seen it before around here. Dont assume your opinion is any more right than another. Unless of course you can prove that your opinion is correct

Quick question, is your Corvette 'garage kept' by any chance?

If so, does that title mean that you never ever drive it and that it literally remains strictly in the garage at all times never to leave there again?
Just curious LOL.

Yes, ignorant...I thought the term was very appropriate.

Definition of IGNORANT

1. lacking knowledge or comprehension of the thing specified <parents ignorant of modern mathematics>
I don't assume my opinion is right, I know it is. Just like I know yours is ignorant in the LSx world. Cam only, like I said, never has, nor ever will mean that a car literally only has the camshaft replaced. You cannot honestly believe that either. A car isn't cam only if the car has been tuned for the cam? It's not cam only if you get valvesprings to match the cam?

You're entitled to your opinion, it just may be the wrong one.

Please feel free to let us know what your definition of "cam only" means.
