Broke my 08 Differential Case, What all to make a 08 Z06 Diff. work?
When I broke the differential case I also broke the output shaft in the Transmission, So I know that is getting changed also... Will everything else bolt right up of what?

I've already got a 08 z06 differential, I have the 300m hardened output shafts that I'm going to put in it out of my other differentia. I'm also gonna put the z06 mainshaft shaft in my trans. I was just wondering what else I had to have to make it work, like if it would bolt in to my cradle and stuff...
Thanks

The Z06 differential will bolt right up with a 30 spline Z06/GS 30 spline mainshaft upgrade to your current transmission. You will need to remove the rear pump assembly and the heat exchanger from the Z06 differential and install a base rear cover and plug the additional hole. We have the required plug that you will need and can provide you with a rear cover gasket as well.

That's a lot of RPM to launch these things. You can get a 1.60's just launching at 3k.
Been there, best of luck getting it back out to the track!

The car is a stock short block LS3.... It had 26x11x17 et streets on it....
Yeah its not stock, lol... It had an ECS Novi 2200 on 12 psi boost, H/C, Meth, RPS Twin Disc Clutch, The Differential didnt actually break, The output shaft on the trans broke, it wasnt a clean break, it broke at an angle and it walked over the other part and cracked my differential case... I had a DTE Brace on it and hardened shafts in the differential....

i did the same thing, but made it about 20 ft out of the hole. lucky for me, i did not break the housing,
Rick Kim @ RKT56.com is taking care of me with his Built Z06 TR6060 and Z06 rear with DSS shafts. plan to add a Carbon Driveshaft from DSS and an ECS trans/diff Brace.
I already had pfadt engine and transmount, with pfadt solid spherical bearing, some reason i credit that to letting it last as long as it did.

p.s. also like to add, Twin Turbo, with RPS twin carbon clutch, Tick master cyl and MSD 2-step , BOOM! lol

yeah I already got a stock z06 differential with 8k miles on it, gonna throw some hardened shafts in it, and put a 30 spline shaft in the trans and hope it lasts for a while...lol... My buddy did the same thing, he went to the track and it held up fine at the track hell he went a 9.98 on a 1.5x 60ft, and then he broke it on the street but it didnt bust his differential housing either...
