I don't think you realize that XZB is a friend of mine, and I know what he and the OP think of this, and they do think that these posts are making fun of them.

Translate their posts with Google translate if you don't believe me.

Guys, do what you want, I'm just pointing out a different point of view. Having some class is not a forum requirement...but most here do seem to have some....some more than others...

I've taken this off topic enough, I'll try to shut up now.

And I don't think the three of you realize what a joke is if they're offended about what he posted. Right now it only seems like you are offended for them.

They were clearly writing in Swedish to push the buttons of forum members, so they should be able to take it if willing to do that.

Let my post explain (again) that it was not an insult to them in any way.

It was a joke from a movie that they likely saw since it made 106 million foreign versus 107 million domestic. To say it's only an American inside-joke is very wrong/misleading.

It's simply a pop-culture reference...if people take it out of context or simply don't understand it that's not our problem.

Breecher already confirmed he was not making fun of them. There was no intent of that, which I thought was very clear.

I'm glad that's settled now, and hopefully you and they both realize a joke is a joke

Spin is a great resource and very generous with his cam and general C6 knowledge. His 230/234 cam is proven time and time again so you really can't go wrong with it.

Yep, it's relatively easy to see 480-500whp on these cars with minimal mods. You could also go the blower route and get 600-650 with 'relative' ease.

If I had an LS3 car this is probably the cam I would go with. Or maybe one step bigger. 231/236 or something.

I too would choose the Spin cam....and he will likely send you a Spin tune....go in cahoots with XZB to buy HP Tuners and you guys can switch back and forth between CAM tunes and stock tune easily.

Get the QTP timing cover, and the swap is easy. And much less expensive than a supercharger.

Sounds like a plan!

That QTP timing cover is genius though. What a great idea. That would cut the install time in half I bet. No power steering rack or crank pulley headaches.

Too bad it's $500 though, holy crap.

I almost went with the Spin cam, but decided on the Pat G recommendation as he had a lot of great things to say about the EPS lobes. I'm very happy with how the car has turned out.

I was going to recommend the Blair Witch cam, but.... oh, wait -- never mind

On a serious note, you might want to look into something more mild than what has been suggested. I have a 224/236 114+2 cam and it is quite noticeable and puts out some racecar fumes through the high-flow cats. My cam has 2 degrees of positive overlap, and I think that is all I'd want on a street car. It's really a subjective thing, though. Here is a good link to check a cam profile for overlap: http://www.wallaceracing.com/overlap-calc.php

Cams with negative overlap will drive better and have more vacuum at idle. Just a thought as I know mods over there aren't really looked at kindly. I think the Spin cam has 4 degrees of positive overlap, for what it's worth.
