UPF44 oil filter in a C6?

I have some UPF44 Delco oil filters, can they be used in a C6? Thanks.

Yep, on the LS2 engine. I use the UPF44 on my 06.

but only on the 05 and 06 LS2. The 07 LS2 (like mine) takes the PF48 or UPF48. The thread is different than the UPF44.

OP has a 2008 LS3, so only the PF48 fits(or the UPF48R).

Thanks for the info; I was afraid of that..... I guess I will have to sell the UPF44s.

The UPF 44 can be used on the 2005 C6 LS2.

GM has created confusion for years to come because they didn't wait one more year and let the last year 2007 LS2 continue to use the 44/46 series filters like the previously years LS2, LS1 and LS6 engines. Worked well for me though because I already had a 2006 LS7 using the 48 series so it was nice when I bought the 07 vert that it too also used the 48 series so I only have to stock one filter model for my two vettes and my son's 08 LS3 coupe.
