05 corvette no dlc communication

Default 05 corvette no dlc communication
I went to get my smog done, and found out that it failed. They said they could not link up to the car. I checked all fuses and battery is good. i tried to hook up my scan tool and found the same thing. it is unable to link with the car. any ideas

By your post title I think you would get a better answer in the C6 section....

OP. Try disconnection the battery for about 10 minutes then reconnect it. How old is the battery?

No power or a bad ground to the data plug. This is from my 08' manual but should be the same.

Pin 16 is battery voltage and 4 and 5 should be less than 1 ohm to ground.
