Can you add a little more detail?

1. It doesn't crank at all unless you play with the relay?
Which relay? crank or run/crank Both are used in the starting circuit.
2.Is this a stick or manual? If it is a manual, have you tried keeping the start button pushed in and cycle the clutch pedal?
3. You mess with the start relay, have you tried to see if you can reproduce the engine crank issue while wiggling the relay? Have you taken a good look at the contacts to see if they are spread out or dirty?

Have you replaced the starter relay? Like the post above, does it not turn over until you "wiggle" the relay or something? That sounds like back contacts or a bad relay. Replace it.

Here is the starter diagram from my 08' manual, not sure if anything is different between the years.

Here you can see both the relays I was asking about. Which one are you playing with?

By starter relay, are you referring tot he crank relay in the engine bay?

If you look at the below schematic you can see C13 gets battery voltage when the start button is pressed and the BCM activates the digital output to supply the ground to activate the run/crank relay.

You can test the voltage when the start button is pressed.

Does C13 of the crank relay get +12volts?

red lead to C13/black lead to a known good ground.

If yes, then we need to do the same test but using A14 for the crank relay as the ground contact. (Black lead) Do you get +12volts?

Also, did you try the clutch pedal test yet? Push the start button and cycle the clutch pedal to see if the clutch switch is flakey.
