Welcome to the Forum!!! Congratulations on your C6! Enjoy the car and the Forums.

Tell the guys what you want to do with the car, what you expect from the car, ie: weekend cruiser, daily driver, drag racing every weekend, auto-X twice a month, HPDE twice a year???

Give us some idea where you want to end up and the guys here will guide you.

Just a quick FYI, all 2007 (all 2006 and up actually) Corvettes are 6 speeds.
But I assume that you mean 'manual' 6 speed.

Yeah i guess that would have been helpful! im going to be using it for a weekend car/maybe some trips. I loved my CTSV it had full kooks headers, 3" B&B exhaust, CAI, and a tune. Thinkin mybe do the same setup on this. But im lost when it comes to the best brands to go with on the C6. And im positive that i want to install a cam with quite a bit of thump to it.

So, you want to do headers/exhaust/tune together, first?

Any budget limitations for these mods? Do you want the best headers or typical, acceptable? How much noise/drone do want to live with for the exhaust?

Then cam later, maybe?

Any idea how big a cam. One that lessens driveability but gives big power or is driveability still a concern? Or just want a lumpy idle with stock type driveability?

What about big cams affects drive ability? I new to the V8 world but had big cams on my 4 cyl. before...the lightened flywheel and clutch was the hardest to get use to. I also want cams in mine but I seem to be reading a lot about drive ability. Thanks! Sorry to butt in but I am really wanting to know.

BTW I also have a black on black M6 2007...B&B Fusion w/ x-pipe, Lingenfelter CAI and Diablo tune for starters.

I did headers, tune, t-stat, ported TB, and CAI first. Been a bit of a blur since.

hmmm someone is going to have to get used to the "corvette" tax... Vararam with fast 102 and nick Williams 102 tb will open your car up... Lt 1 3/4 headers 3in all way back with the z06 Npp. That's close to 4-5g's with tune depending if you can find some used parts then look at spending about 3.5gs... You should be around 390rwhp after those upgrades and be well in the 11's. Your car will sound really nice, your gas mileage will increase a bit. Those will be your best first upgrades.. CAI,headers, intake,tb and a tune in that order and you can't go wrong.

Yea if I were him Id skip the fast and 102 tb unless he was going to do at least a cam.

Id start off with Vararam intake, UD pulley, LT headers (used) and a tune
If you still aren't happy add a small cam. Thatll put you over 420rwhp easily

I'm not Corvette expert, but on my last car I went the TB, UDP, exhaust, intake and tune route. It was fun, but at the end of the day, a supercharger is the biggest bang for your buck. Fast, reliable and still retains daily driveablity.

i did the fast before cam and managed a 10.62 bolt/ons only, then a cam only 10.59 no traction, the ported fast was one of the best mods i did. no less then 30 rwtq & rwhp accross the rpm band

Well I mean if he did just a cam and say vararam and a tune and nothing else he'd be just as happy if not more than getting all the bolt on mods and a fast.
I guess it just depends if he has the cash to drop now or if it needs to be done over time.
