Default C6 GS LS3 Upgrades?

Looking for some performance upgrades for the LS3 or cosmetic upgrades. Going to be getting intake, and possibly headers. Any worth to getting a new mass airflow sensor or programmer or bigger throttle body?

Intake wise are you talking about a cai or putting a fast 102 on? The stock GM intake works very well. Headers are a good choice because the ls3 exhaust manifolds are bottle neck and with out the header change a new throttle body doesn't produce any more horsepower due to this but will give you more throttle response. You could have your stock throttle body ported and get the throttle response alot cheaper. After installing cai, headers etc. a good tune is worth alot.

Start with headers and tune only as it should give you somewhere in the vicinity of 40+ rwhp

Kooks Headers, Kooks X-Pipe and Tuning have netted 47-50 rwhp on the LS3's that I have worked on.

Is there a need for the Kooks x-pipe when the LS3 cars already have a x-pipe from the factory?

The factory X-Pipe is 2.5" and will not connect to the headers, without some serious modifications. The Kooks Cats are further dowstream due to the length of the primaries.
