Z06 Track Conversion - My first questions
ABS: 18x9.5 and 18x12 wheels work OK with the ABS and traction control - do I need to be careful with the overall diameters? Can this be adjusted in the ECU if required?
Airbags: What else is integrated into the airbag circuits? What is the easiest way to remove and disable the airbags?
Wiring diagrams and service manual? Where can I source these - what do people recommend?
TPMS: can it be disabled via the ECU or is it a standalone? Is it accurate and do racers simply have a sensor in each wheel? Do they need to be paired to the car every time you fit the wheels or just the first time the combo is fitted?
Spring rates: Can anyone tell me the common spring rates used in coilover racing upgrades - I run on slicks, not DOT R tyres.
Logging Dashboards: Does the Z06 run on CAN bus and does anyone use a logger/dash straight from the CAN?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks
Justin

Is this a C6 or C5?
Yes the car is CAN,
You can't change any of the TPMS or wheel agorythims in the ECU. Those wheel sizes will work though.
The TPMS is in the Body control module, ABS has its own computer you will have to wire up. Save yourself about 100 hours and run a stand alone harness from any of the speed shops that sell them.
Springs will depend on your race weight, I run 800 up front and 650 in the rear. Car is not done so we will see how this works out. However I copied those rates from a WC car built very closely to mine.
Racepak makes one, so does Motec and a bunch of others, AIM etc.
Good Luck
