Default Does a 2006-2007 C6 Have a CPP & a start switch?

Just doing a A6 to M6 conversion and looking at the wiring diagrams.

On the wiring diagrams, appears Mitchelle states that the 2007 Corvette Manual trans wiring harness has inline the following:

1. Clutch Pedal Position switch
2. Clutch Pedal Start switch

When I called GM, they said that the 2007 only has the Start switch, and that only 2008+ had the Clutch Pedal position switch.

The start switch is the big button that mounts by the pedal toe board, while the CPP is the one mounted on top of the clutch pedal and is like a veriable switch that moves proportionally with the pedal.

Appears that 2008 the CPP and Brake pedal position sensor are both the same part number as well.

Can anyone with some knowledge or if you have a 2007 C6, look ontop of your clutch pedal and see if you have a sensor there, similar to the one on the brake pedal? Thank you.

Okay never mind found it, the wiring diagram shows it as "clutch pedal position sensor mounted on top of pedal" where in reality, its actually called a Cruise Release sensor.

PT#: 10426455

The clutch position sensor is only one, and its just used for starting on the 2007. The 2008+ uses a variable resistor type sensor, same as the Brake position sensor.

Just thought i'd add cuz it drove me crazy and dealer didn't know what I was talking about. Hope this helps someone in the future.
