Of your two choices, I'd go with the Red Line.

The AMSOIL options for your C6:
Tranny:
AMSOIL Torque-Drive Synthetic Transmission Fluid (Product Code ATD1G)
(Same fluid I use in my 02 Z06 at the track)
Diff:
AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w90 (Product Code SVGQT)
AMSOIL Slip-Lock Differential Additive (Product Code ADATB)
The Severe Gear 75w90 comes with friction modifier and I run that fluid in my 02 Z06 at the track without extra additive and have no diff chatter, but the C6 diff behaves differently and for the C6 most use some of the Slip Lock additive to ensure the diff doesn't chatter.
Although I had already purchased the Royal purple replacements for my tranny and rear end, after reading the white paper above (over and over) I decided to stay with the GM factory for my differential as it rates better in most tests and head and head with amsoil. I did replace my transmission fluid with royal purple, shifts are noticeably smoother.

So I got some royal purple 75-90 gear oil sitting on the shelves nowack:

The white paper is a good read! Thanks for sharing.
