yeah those are the pilot sports all season type. looking for something more like the ps2 or even the cup tire but in a run flat. trying to hook up 800+ rwhp but has to be a runflat.
Hooking up 800rwhp with any street radial isn't going to happen under 75mph, if even then.
I'm at 625rwhp and running a MUCH stickier tire than the PS2 (the Khumo XS) and still have to roll into WOT at 40mph.
Anyway....the Pilot Sport ZP is not an all season tire; it's a max performance summer tire. The Pilot Sport A/S ZP is their all season runflat. The PS2 ZP does not come in 345...only 325. It's likely the stickiest option for a runflat.

yeah im hoping i can talk the customer out of runflats. otherwise i think ill do the 325 ps2 i know i wont hook but we are looking for the best results.
If not I'd detune the car....800rwhp with a 325 PS2 is going to do nothing but ssppiinnnn. Less power would likely make for a quicker and more enjoyable car if sticking with a runflat is unavoidable.
800 and run flats is like shoveling snow during a blizzard!
Run-flats do not necessarily reduce traction. In fact, the Sport Cup tires that come with the carbon package are run-flats and they take advantage of this feature to increase the sidewall stability and improve the tire's behavior during hard cornering.
The very heavy run-flats impairing the handling are now old-school The Bridgestone and Michelin run-flat tires have little to no weight penalty, and use the run-flats to improve the tires' characteristics.
I didn't know the sport cup was a runflat...definitely the option then for the 800rwhp car.
There are two versions:
(1) The older version that's OEM spec for some of the European cars (mostly Porsches), etc.
(2) The newer version developed for ZR1 PDE (and for Z06's Z07 package). This the version I was talking about and click here for the Tire Rack link.
