Any HP advantage other than better engine sound with a K&N air filter or another brand? I want to stay with stock air box if I could.Does one brand work any better than the other. I know they all claim to be the best.

The horsepower gained from switching from a paper filter to an aftermarket one like K&N but retaining the stock airbox is negligible; so I'd imagine the difference in gain, if any, between the various brands would be negligible as well...

LS2 or LS3 intake?
LS2 intake is pretty bad and there are numerous threads about the performance gains from swapping to a Vararam or other aftermarket piece. The dual filter intake does nothing for flow.
LS3 intake is actually great right out of the box. You could do the shroud prop mod and pick up some fresh air to the filter but other than that, the stock one works pretty well.
