Default Would these rims fit ?

Can someone who knows for sure tell me if these rims can work for my 07 C6 to run drag radials on at the track. I want to run 17s and found these locally and cheap. I nor the seller are sure what year vette they are from.

I would only use the fronts. The are 17x8.5 and offset 58mm

Thanks for any help.

They are C5 wheels and will work but I'm not sure of the details. This kind of stuff makes my eyes cross because there are so many variables and I'm not really interested anyway.

Here's one discussion and you can follow my link to another which has more of my links to others. Whew. Good luck.

Yes, the 17x8.5 C5 front wheels do fit on the back of all (non Z06/non ZR1) C6s as long as they still have their factory sized brakes/rotors.
Some good tire choices are the 245-45-17s as well as the 275-40-17s (which is the size most people use).

+1. Put some 275/40 drag radials on them and have fun. With your power being supercharged, you will want MT drag radials.

I see that MT recommends a minimum 9inch rim for a 275 40 17. Would they work ok with these 8.5 inch rims. Is it safe?
