Default **Lethal Racing Review**

First off, I want to thank Shawn, Andy, Nick, and Mike at Lethal Racing for doing an awesome job on my car.

Shawn - great person to talk, led me in the direction needed to get to my goals, and taking his time to explain what and everything did and even listened to my own opinions, tuned it to my liking

Andy - very cool guy to talk, young but he knows his stuff (hope you get into a car soon cuz I know you'll make it go fast)

Nick - late night texts (LOL) keeping me posted on updates, did an awesome job on the gauge installs, very cool guy with a nice Camaro that I hope to see soon

Mike - did an awesome job on the cam install (way into the night)

My first impression: DAMN!!!! This car has really woken up. I've gotten two compliments, both at a light intersection, both complimenting on the nice rumble.
If you're in the south you NEED to go to Lethal Racing!!!! You can't go wrong with
taking your car there. I'm already trying to plan for the ecs kit and Meth!!!

Now here are the mods:
Nightfury cam
1 7/8 ARH headers
Vararam Intake
Ported Oil Pump
C5R Timing Chain
AEM Gauges
160 Thermostat

2008 z51 Ls3 manual transmission 35.8k miles
Dyno results on a humid night: 482rwhp/451rwt

stock

If you got any video of it idling... Post up!!

I'll try to get a video of it idling and some good revs tomorrow. Don't know the specs, didn't want to ask cuz its Shawn's custom spec, would have to ask him.

Thanks GenX DTP!

Glad you like it. It sounds awesome for sure . All your wiring was carefully and professionally installed, just as the cam was and the guage pod was installed as clean as anyone can make it.

The lift is .600/.615. It doesn't take a lot of lift to make big power, just Shawn's tuning!

Here is a short idle vid

It's not a hardcore cam where you have to rev to 2k to get it going. It can still putt-putt around parking lot. The bucking, at 1500, is so small that you won't regret having it installed. It's just that great to me!!! My main worry was the drivability and having a cam that would work for N/A and boosted applications. Im VERY happy that Shawn suggested this cam to me. The mods I've done are so worth it, that I just can't believe that I didn't do this sooner. I'll get an in car video of it driving around the parking lot. Just got to find a 3rd arm LOL.

The guys at Lethal have been putting out some fantastic builds, definitely one of the top shops on the forum we look to send people too for work. Nice results on the cam and good luck with your future mods.

So, according to your mods list and dyno graph, your car is putting down about 135HP more than stock (never saw your baseline #'s)......at a really enticing price.......VERY DAMN IMPRESSIVE!

I update my first post with a stock dyno graph so you could compare the before/after. I should of done that in the first place but I'm not used to posting on the forums. HEH

I'm really digging this setup! I was looking into an E-Force, but this is truly cost effective.

The Night Fury Cam has definately been a nice cam for us. It won't beat up the valvetrain, makes excellent power, and awesome torque!!!! Thank you Trevor for taking the trip down to us!!! Thank you to rest of the guys that have called and emailed us. If you are looking for pricing please feel free to pm me with your email adress and I can get a quote out to you.
