Header Install Day at RPT
Today was a great in Austin for some header installs. Today consisted of two low mileage C6 Corvettes and both looked great.
First up, was Mr. Schwab's 2009 Cyber Grey Corvette M6. The only mods was the replacement of the stock air box/bridge to the configuration from the C6Z06. The headers of choice are:
Kooks 1 7/8" Longtube Headers coated by JetHot
Kooks 3" Catted X-Pipe
Kooks Installation Kit
Custom RPT Dyno Tuning
The gains were 39 rwhp and 40 ft-lbs. This Corvette still retained the stock non-NPP Mufflers. The idle was really quiet as well.
Next on the list was Mr. Sones 2008 Black Corvette M6. The mods on this one was the Vararam CAI and Corsa Sport Mufflers. The install was straight forward and encountered no issues. Here is the list of the new upgrades:

The gains were 35 rwhp and 31 ft-lbs and nice overall power output on stock internals.
RPT still is running our installed sale at $1,820 with cats. We really apprciate the business and look forward to future modifications
