Default TPMS Tech Question.......

Can a set of '08 Z06 wheels with '08 TPMS be re-calibrated (using the VT15 calibration tool) to talk to a '12 GS computer? Would like to know before I spend the money on the VT15 tool.

Please, no guesswork here.

Two different styles of TPMS. The newer sensors have a different communications link with the car.

Agreed, simple NO.

If you look at your list of option codes, you will find that the TPMS receiver has changed since those wheels. The old one that goes with them is UJ9, your newer one will be different. The system changed in 2010. You will need a set of the newer sensors. You will still need a tool to reprogram them to the car, if you are planning on doing it yourself.
