Ive got a squeak in the rear end of my 2009 base c6 when going over bumps that sounds like the lowering bolts when the pads wear out. So i changed them out and lubed the pad but the noise is still there. Car only has 10k miles on it.
My thots are,
1. lower control arm bushing
2. shock mount bushing
3. bad shock
4. ???????????????
thxs for your time and anything is a good idea to check,,,,,,,,,

Paul,I had the same problem with my 08 at about the same mileage,it turned out to be the npp exhaust, all rubber hangers where dry and the source for the squeak!!
Does your car have grease zerts on the tie rod end on the rear of the control arm (the arm used to adjust toe in/out)? My car has those, and I hadn't greased them for a long time and was getting the squeak. I lubed them and all is fine.
Here's my thread and someone posted up some good pics.
