I changed my plugs and plug wires and keep having the boots pop off on the plug side after about every 15 minutes of driving. It happens on random cylinders. Sometimes it is only one plug, sometimes it up to three.

You've got to 'burp' them........I've seen a write up on this and you have air trapped between the boot and the plug or coil and when the air heats up, it expands, greater pressure and pops the boot off. I believe the original poster suggested inserting a small zip tie end through the boot and then you slide the boot on, and after its on....you pull out the zip tie and doing so lets the trapped air escape....easy as pie!

Never had this issue with any car. Are you using a little dielectric grease and getting a solid click when you push the wire on?

No grease, but I am getting a solid click. Have to look into this burping thing. Never heard of this happening before.

It's happened with me twice. Zip tie sounds like a good idea. Greased mine and got a good "click" but still poped loose.

I tried the zip tie thing yesterday and went for a short cruise. Seemed to work, so thank you for the assistance.
