Default Shifting into 3rd issue - Maybe?

First, I've read the thread on the proper way to shift, plus I've been driving standard vehicles since I received my license. I'm 30.

Last August I purchased a new 2011 Z06, runs great, no issues.

The last two times I drove the vehicle (once in January and this past weekend), I've noticed the following:

During the initial driving, before the car/engine/transmission, etc. is completely "warmed up," it feels like the transmission grinds when I shift into 3rd.

I can physically feel this. Maybe grind is a bad explanation. It feels as if the gear is our of alignment and it's just not a smooth shift.

Once the vehicle warms, I don't seem to have the same issue.

Should I bring the vehicle to my dealer?

I only have about 2500 miles on it.

Thanks!!

All other shifting points are perfect, that's what I think is weird?

This is normal (at least for this trans) and there is a name for it. "third gear nibble" Just a slight bite before going into 3rd gear on a cold shift. My 2010 does the same thing before and even after I installed carbon fiber synchros. Nothing to worry about but I will admit it can sometimes be a little concerning.
