Just wanted to pass on my experience with this brand of exhaust. Purchaced the nxtstep from an ebay dealer and installed it today. I paid $699.00, free shipping and I'm suppose to get $50.00 credit for pre-ordering when they were out of stock.
Didn't come with installation instructions and I emailed to find out if they could send me some. Replied they don't currently offer installation instructions. I've installed a few exhaust systems and this was only three pieces so not a problem for me but heads up if its your first time.
Went together very easily and everything fit very well. Sounds about as loud as the loudmouth 2 system but has a better rumble IMO. NO interior drone. I was worried about that after having the original loudmouth system on my 08'.
All in all a very good experience though I'm waiting for my CC statement to see if I'm credited the $50.00 they promised.
I don't want to hijack this thread, so the OP can tell me to stay off of this thread. LOL
In my case, I didn't have any real drone that I am aware of when I first installed it. A few months ago, I did install Fatmat insulation throughout the cabin and the trunk area. This was mainly to offset any additional noise to the car when doing more mods (headers, cam, etc) and keep it cooler inside the car in the Summer months. Just trying to balance the noise and carrying on a conversation in the car.
No worries Tazguru, the more the merrier. I haven't experienced any drone by my understanding of drone. I had Loud Mouths on an 08' and it felt like my eyeballs were going to pop out my head. This system is louder than stock so I hear it in the car but in a good way.
I don't have any relationship with this company whatsoever and keep in mind I've never purchased a "high end system" such as B&B or Borla. My system came "new in the box" but not the most professional packaging I've seen and no installation instructions. Seemed like packaging was an afterthought but the product showed up undamaged and I like it much more than the LM or LM 2. Way better sound IMO.
