Straight pipes
I just bought an 05 with the mufflers cut out (straight pipes right to the tail pipes). It sounds like a track car, but won't pass state inspection. I picked up some take-off C6 mufflers with axle pipes to put on. Question: What are the hose fitting tubes coming off the mufflers for?

Since you don't have the 08 model with the factory connections you should look into B&B's vacuum module they use for their systems. It's fairly simple to hook up. Costs around 200 too. I got it on my car with their Fusion system.
