Default no fobs detected

I am having some bother with the no fobs detected message in my 2007 C6.
Have changed battery in fob and tried the the turning the key in the boot thing to get the car to recognise the fob, will allow entry but no start unless fob is in glove compartment.
anyone got a solution for me?

I get that occasionally if I lay my fob near my cell phone in the car.

If it is not interference, chargers, phones, electronic devices, then the fact that you can only get the FOB recognized in the glove box slot says:

FOB battery is bad. (Battery put in backwards or used the crosshatched one that won't make proper contact)
FOB is bad
BCM receiver is bad

Turning the key isn't doing jack for you, so don't do it unless you want to reprogram the FOB

The car starts, right? I doubt the car battery is the issue. The FOB, the FOB receiver, or there is interference inside the cabin that is "hiding" the FOB from the receiver.

I have the same issue with my '08. Will only start with fob in glovebox slot. It happened after I disconnect the car battery while I installed my cam. Replaced the fob batteries, didn't help. Think it may need a trip to the dealer. Keep us posted on how you make out.

Default No Fob Dected

Hi,I took my 09 Vette in to the dealer ship for the same reason. The tech said the fobs were ok.The tech stated the battery in the car was kaput and replaced the car battery.Worked fine until I went to Hooters and when I left I got the same old thing. No Fobs detected.Waste of time so I am going back to the dealer and let them play with my car.

Ok, things i have tried - Disconnected battery for 20 mins.
Put new Panasonic batteries in fobs 1 and 2
Checked for electronic devices in and around car - nothing - (my other 2008 corvette is in next garage bay and starts fine)
Car battery i showing 13.9 volts and is green status indicator.
Read Manual cover to cover.
Note also the trunk wont open unless with key or drivers switch and fob manual lock, unlock and horn button on fob does not work on either remotes.
Any more suggestions ?

Ok Problem sorted, probs started when the car battery went flat, last thing to do was to change battery and reprogram FOBS as the car "forgot" them, had a Techo go over the car and plug in the analiser just in case, all good now.
Thank you guys for you input.
