Coencidence....?

Coencidence....?
So last month I threw a CEL. Had it checked out and it was a p0420 error.....driver side bank (cat or O2). Anywho, I changed my cabin filter out this past weekend and tonight, no mas CEL. Car is a daily driver and I havent driven it much this past weekend but put some mileage on it the past couple of days. Is it coencidence that it went out today or is there a possibility that changing the cabin filter had something to do with it?
