Default PCV Catch Can opinion

What are your opinions on the necessity of an oil catch can installation?
In my case, I am a daily driver, with no intentions of going to the track.

Thank you.....

catch can is a waste of money... ever wonder why it never comes installed on any gm cars.

there is no evidence anywhere that shows the sigficance of a catch can unless your running a highly modified supercharged or turbo car. and only a catch can with a breather is good, otherwise all the other stuff sold here on the forum is worthless.

Really????

Have you ever had your intake manifold off and looked inside of it?

The reason they're on the car from GM is because the dealership has to engineer / design a car that caters to every buyer. Think some of the old men and women driving these cars will care for the catch can if it was a factory option? Would they unscrew it and empty it, etc? Would they remember to look into on a regular basis?

Oil in an intake manifold is not suppose to be there, and a catch can helps avoid that.

There you go! Driving style, if you have oil in the Intake then yes, no oil then the answer is no. No opinion required, simply driving style............I need a very large CC
