Default Looking to change things

I am tired of getting 7mpg and I want to change things up. What would be a good cam to switch to that would allow me to remove the stall converter and work with my bigger injectors? The engine is a 416 with LSA C&C ported heads. The cam numbers are in my sig.

AR headers, x-pipe, magna flow axle back, cam 243/259@50 625lift 113 LSA, PTC 3000 stall, 3.42 Z06 diff, F55, 416CI,

i don't think any one is answering because there really isn't any if your removing the stall converter, are you sure its locking, the trans is tuned right, maybe get a triple disk and different cam, you should get better then 7 mpg unless your on E85, AND THEN IT SHOULD STILL GET BETTER

I have no problem leaving the stall, heck it would make my life esier. I am looking at going with less cam so i can get bette mileage.

if your leaving the stall then i would ask someone with a 416 auto in the c5 section maybe, or Cartek, LG, Spinmonster.

I'd have to believe that getting 7mpg is a tuning issue.

on the hwy I get mid teens but in town in traffic the car just drinks the fuel. My stall only locks up in the last two gears. I am also running LS9 injectors.

No offense, it is always more helpful to list your cam/details in your help thread vs. "see my sig for details" I passed simply due to that.

I do not have a stroker, but I do have a heads and cam LS2 with a cam leaning towards the rowdy side & run LS9 injectors...I see a city highway average of 19 and my highway alone is around 25. I am an M6 though.

Lol, his sig is directly under his post...

I only really get annoyed when people say that it's in their profile. I'll never look at those.

You have quite a bit more displacement, good size cam, ported heads, larger injectors, 342's and wider tires. Did I miss anything like ported/fast intake. No surprise your mpg's are down considerably. Not sure a milder cam is gonna be that benificial to improving fuel consumption considering all your upgrades.

The intake is factory all the way so is the throttle body.
