Default Modified Suspension - How to delete codes

I have a 2005 corvette with lowered suspension and a few other mods. Unfortunately when we lowered the suspension, the computer started spitting all sorts of codes relatred to the shocks (shocks inoperative) active ride control, etc. Is there a way to delete these codes permanantly? Obviously you can just reset the codes, but then they just pop back up shortly after.

You could raise the suspension a little so the shocks can do what they are supposed to do. It sounds you have the car low enough that the sensors see the shock as fully compressed which if it is means on hard bumps you run out of suspension travel and the spring rate approaches infinity very suddenly. Not good for handling as the driver has no way to anticipate the sudden change and can lose control of the car.

You could remove the shocks and sensors and replace the shocks with a set that permits more compression but then you will have to have somebody with a Tech 2 deactivate the ride control system. You could also wire in simulators to fool the ride control computer into thinking every thing is OK but you would still have to replace the shocks with aftermarket shocks. I think the Bilstein Sports permit more compression.

Sorry for the confusion there, I did use 05-07 shocks.

I put c7 wheels and TPMS sensors on and it was just there as information in case that had anything to do with the problems I was having.

The TPMS was never an issue to my surprise though. They synced up and display in the DIC just fine.

I really appreciate all of the feedback. I couldn’t have got this resolved without the help here!
