Strange Computer (DIC) Startup messages
This just happened today..
I went to start the car and after it turned over instead of the usual sweep of the gauges and "Corvette by Chevrolet" on the DIC - ALL the lights on the gauge panel light up bright, and I get "Boot", "Eprom" version numbers on the DIC - then everything goes back to normal.
It doesn't seem to be affecting anything else and the car rides normally and all electronics appear to be working. If I started up right away, it didn't happen. If I turned it off for 30mins and restarted, the same thing happened.
I did a search and the only thing I found was a note about the RESET button on the DIC being 'stuck' and this being a possible cause. This doesn't appear to be the case in my situation... Anybody have any other ideas??
I've got a stock 2007 coupe with Z51 option.. the only Performance Mod to date is a CoW Booster which is two months old...... I guess I could have Chuck take a look at it, but it appears to be intermittent?? Hmmmm...
