Default Not Fantastic!

I recently had my C6 slip off the jack and the jack went up and tapped the bottom of the electric fan shroud. Luckily the radiator or anything else wasn't damaged. The shroud was cracked but most importantly the fan itself was broken off where the fan-blade's outter ring connects each fan blade tip (all tips being connected as one piece). As I suspected, now when the fan kicks on it creates a horrible vibration. I assume the missing/broken out plastic piece between the 2 blades has caused the fan to be out of balance.

Chevy only sells the whole damed unit Fan/motor/shroud for over $450, yuk city.

Is there any way to just get the fan itself? Used units anywhere? Aftermarket?

Probably not.

There are plenty of good used fan assemblies on fleabay. And cheap too.

Might as well get a better aftermarket if that one is toast...
