Had this happen on one of my cars, the cam had just too much lift and was causing retainer to valve seal issues. I noticed the car was smoking pretty good on startup and I found a piece of valve seal spring in my oil pan. Pulled the valve cover and springs and all the seals were chewed up on the intake sides. The guides needed sunk lower into the head, so now I always measure RTVS cause of my paranoia.

findings: 2 valve seals totally gone on each side of the heads; one exhaust and one intake. Changed out all the seals and multiple others seemed like they were fixing to fall apart as well

leak down test was done and all cylinders ~ 6%.
Car still has a sIlight misfire at low rpm's under a load; My only guess is that it could be the colder BR7EF plugs..

Anyone ever have any issues with these plugs?

Changed plugs back to TR6's. Misfire at low rpms seems to have disappeared.

Any theories on why the valve seals went?

Not sure. Improperly installed? Not pressed/seated all the way?

Only time will tell, now that I've replaced the seals.
Spoke with the fellas over at Nitrous Outlet & they believe the misfire is due to misgapped plugs.
