Go thirty over and they'll "fit", technically. That's a huge head, however, and would be much more suited to big stroker builds.

TF225's are your best option for a stock cube 6.0 for overall power.

TF225's and the G6x3 is a 500+rwhp machine. Tried and true.

Oh.

If you posted your current mods you would get responses that are more on point.

My question was on point just asking if 245s would fit my ls2 has nothing to do with how much Hp I'm making or other mods I have.

I think Joe_G was just saying that with an accurate listing of your mods it would be easier for others to provide appropriate feedback on the 245 heads for your intended application.

Actually, it does.

But to answer your question in the most simple/direct way, yes, TFS 245s will fit on to an LS2 bottom end.

You didn't mention your car was a 600rwhp twin turbo job. That obviously DOES have bearing on whether or not 245's work for your application. If you think it doesn't, then you're in over your head- seeing as you did need to seek help for rather basic info. Posting more context will beget more calibrated, precise responses.

Stock short block or is your bottom end forged? What compression are you running / intend to be running? Swapping heads will also change your compression depending on application, which may or may not be beneficial to your setup.

Again, more context. "Fitting" rarely ever means "functioning" in the automotive world. Just because it bolts on doesn't mean works.

Another hot tip.

If you are asking people for help, be nice to them. Don't belittle them. You will tend to reap what you sow.

Works great for me.

My car is a APS twin turbo stock bottom end running 10lbs of boost. I wasn't wanting to lower compression alittle to maybe run few more pounds of boost. Would like to get to 650-700rwhp. Just wasn't sure if the 245s would work for me or should I pass on them an get 225s.

The 245cc head will fit the stock bore but it will shroud the chamber just a hair. You will need to run the bigger bore gaskets to clear the chamber as well.

Trickflowtech;

Tell us about the proper usage of 225, 235, and 245 heads as they relate to both the LS2 and LS3 engines. What are their advantages and under what conditions of bore and valve train?

Well that is a hard question to completely answer. The heads will fit many combinations and depending on the giving combination would determine which head would be recommended.

For example on the combination in this thread a Twin Turbo LS2 you can use either of the 3 heads and get different results and different purposes. If you are looking for a max effort build and trying to make as much HP as possible the 245 head even though it shrouds the chamber a little bit would be the head of choice and same coule be said for the 235cc head. This would also be determined if the engine has be stroked. A large cubic inch, twin type build it would be a no brainer to go with the bigger runner head to allow for the proper volume needed to move the air that the bigger cubed motor would require.

On a stock LS2 naturally aspirated combination I would lean towards the 225 or 235cc head but that would also depend on use of the vehicle. A daily driver I would lean more towards a 225cc head but for a drag race application I would probably recommend a 235cc head.

I hope this helps a little.

^^ It shows how important it is to properly frame a question if you would like relevant answers.
