Default Complete LS2 403 Stroker?

I am looking for a complete LS2 403 stroker motor. I am looking for a complete one from a shop to see what prices are. I think I may run a carburetor on it.
I do not need crazy performance numbers. Somewhere like 4-500.

I want to have the 403 just since it is a 6.6 liter, and think it would make a heck of a motor.

Could I build, get built, or buy a motor for around 6?

well a short block will run 4500+ then heads near $2400. You will still need intake and all the covers(front, rear, valve covers), water pump, balancer, oil pump, oil pan, timing chain, rockers, lifters, push rods (plus all gaskets and bolts for everything)...on and on. I spent near $11k

Not really. You could find a quality used engine though and dress it up a bit .... Blocks alone are 1150.. then even a cheap rotating assembly is going to be 2400.. add in a top end and machine work and you can see the point .... your at 3550 for just the block and rods and pistons

SBC can be done.. but not really as far as an LS2 for that budget if your starting with nothing

I'm parting out my LS2 right now and have many of the parts you may be looking for. My timing chain broke a couple weeks ago and bent 9 valves, but bottom end is entact (impressions on the pistons but many feel those are salvageable as well). Shoot me a
PM with your number and we can work out a deal.

I think when the time comes i'll buy a 6.0 truck motor.

Still in the planning stages. The car has a long way to go.

Mine wouldn't be. What does it do in terms of size physically, when you have a dry sump?

I have a Vengeance Racing/SDPC LS2 403 stroker for sale. It was in my 2001 Camaro SS. It has Eagle 4340 forged crank, Scat 4340 forged H beam rods, Manley forged pistons, ARP studs and bolts, Trick Flow 225 heads, Harland Sharp rockers, Vengeance Vindicator cam, ported FAST 90 intake, Nick Williams 90 throttle body, etc. Put down 500 rwhp on a Mustang dyno in my Camaro with a 9" and 315s on the rear. The motor has about 10,000 miles on it and has never been abused or sprayed. I want $5,500 for it.

Edit: I know that I'm new here, but I've been on other sights such as LS1Tech for almost 10 years. You can look me up on there, my screen name is CRL 01 SS.

I thought so too! This motor is $9,649.99 new on Vengeance's website. I was originally looking for an '06-'07 Corvette to swap it into, but decided to just buy an '08 Corvette instead and put a D1SC on it. I'm not going to put it in my '08 Corvette so somebody can get a great deal on a really stout motor. I'd prefer local pick-up, but will consider shipping it.

Really the only way I have seen it done is to make one yourself. I am going to go with a pontiac 455 so it will be easy for me
