Default c-6 instrument cluster

I have a c-6 instrument cluster and steering column in a 34 Ford. I also have the complete drive train in it with the corvette wires and e-38 ECM. The harness is a stand alone deal to run the motor only. I am going to attempt to hook the cluster up, however the wires coming out of the cluster plug are cut off at 2 feet. I have tach signal speedo signal coming from the harness, ready to go to the dash.I would like to find a schematic of the cluster and column wireing. color codes etc. so I can hook up what is needed.I am probably going to get a guage controller from painless as some of the wireing did go through the BCM.any help with a wireing diagram would help a bunch. Thanks Glenn

I looked in my GM eSi database and thats a lot of systems to go through to try and post. You might be well served to pick up a LSX set of manuals which would have the pinouts, schematics, Etc... that you would be looking for.

Default c-6 cluster

Thanks. There are two main plugs that go to the cluster. All have different color wires of course. I was hoping to find for instance if a red with white tracer went to the tach in the cluster, or is it way more that one or two wires feeding a guage.Actually I am looking for what wires in the plug go to what guages. from there I believe i can use the signal wires from my harness for the input to the guages. I have tach signal as well as speedo oil and fuel and water temp.just need to know what wires in the cluster they must go to.
I have never attempted this before. I have a frame building background so I would appreciate any input.I can always go to the aftermarket guages but I like the corvette cluster. Not enough to let it drive me crazy though LOL

Default c-6 cluster

Thanks!! that gave me a ton of info.Got tach and speedo and a few others I can use from that diagram. If I can ask one more favor, there is a third plug on the cluster. It is a ten pin connector that is just to the left and perpindicular to the two main plugs. Hoping that you have a diagram of that too. It should have oil and water temp.
I believe I can figure the column out as it is just mechanical connections for turn signals, headlights.etc. I did get the paddle shifter to work off the steering wheel. Its a 6 speed auto.
Thanks again, this is making this job fun Glenn
