Suspension mods for 2012 GS
Pfadt seems to be popular so the question is which package and what order to have mods done, since it won't all be at once?
Sway bar is very popular, but which one for a dd that will be tracked periodically? Street sway vs super stock?
Followed by adjustable coil over kit for next mod? What about Johnny O'Connell stage 1 package?
I am comfortable with Pfadt based on all the great reviews. Just not sure on the package and what order to this in.
So depending on your goals and budget we've got a couple different options for you. Being that the car is an otherwise stock daily driver that you're looking to get some increased track performance out of we would recommend the Johnny O'Connell Stage 1 package.
The JO package includes tuned shocks and sway bars and is really a plug and play package designed to make the Corvette overall easier to drive. As a first mod while you learn the limits of your Corvette on track this would be a fantastic place to start. There is an adjustable rear sway bar which will let you tune the car for some changes in balance, but not enough adjustability that you will be tuning the car more than driving the car.
If you wanted to move up from there that's when you would take a look at one of our coilover packages. The FeatherLight Singles were designed with multiple different uses in mind and really is our go to coilover for cars that see significant street time. There is a wide enough range built into the dampers to allow you to tune the car for what ever you happen to be doing... whether it be drag strip, street driving, or Autox/HPDE you will find damper settings that will help improve performance. We include a setup guide to provide a great baseline for both ride height and the adjustable dampers.
The super stock package is a C6Z specific sway bar package for folks competing in Super Stock Autox competition. I wouldn't recommend running it unless you're competing in that class.

Not R compounds, but an overall much better tire than the stock run flat.

I hear what you're saying but what I think I'm going to wind up doing is drive the stock Goodyear tires for all they're worth, then go with Michelin Pilot Super Sports which I can use for the track and daily driving. Very good reviews on those and I won't have to mess with swapping out tires.
