Default 07 C6 Intake (Vararam?) Need help

Im looking for a good intake for my 07 C6 Z-51. I heard alot about Vararam. Seems either you love it or hate it. Im open to sugestions as of to which is the best performing.

Also I noticed that when looking at the Vararam that some web sites have an extra option for the Z-51. Somthing about the transmission cooler line. Any one know about this and do I have to order somthin else extra if I got with the Vararam for my Z-51 or does it come with the kit anyways?

Thanks.

I have had Vararams on both my GTO and C6, and have been very happy with both of them. They obviously put quite a bit of thought into where they will draw air from. Whether or not it is better than a Callaway Honker, I don't know. I think anyone would have a difficult time proving which is superior one way or the other. The Vararam does give a nice little whistle when you get on it though.

I am among those who like it, and I do consider it to be one of the best (if not the best) performing CAIs for late model Corvettes as well.

True, I believe you simply let them know that it's for a Z51 car when ordering.

I love mine, just don't get the throttle body spacer, it leaks.

I did not use the spacer it came with, thought it was kinda crappy. However I made one out of plastic (the stuff we use on intake manifolds). It worked out great, and the intake does work! They probably would sell allot more if it had a paper filter though. There are too many KIA's on here that say the oiled filters are NFG. However if used properly they are fine.
I Love mine too!
