Default C6 A/C problem

I just picked up a 2005 and after disconnecting the battery to clear a code the ac compressor wont kick back on. Any ideas here guys??

found the problem............ambient temp sensor is reading way low and it thinks its below 40deg out and wont allow the ac compressor to engage.

How did you identify the problem? Was there a check engine light?

Is that the sensor on top of dash just below windshield?
