Need help.... What is this part....
Can someone help me out, I was just getting home when i stepped on my clutch i felt something loose, I looked under and I found this piece. I don't know what it is, was wondering if anyone has ever had this issue with this. I drive a 6 Speed 2006 Base C6

Yes, that's a broken clutch pedal assist spring. It's not uncommon for the to fail, at least on the first few model years. It doesn't seem like you hear about them failing as often now.
