Default Removing CEL codes

Have ARE headers and their cats installed and now I'm getting a CEL. Don't wan to pay $500 for a tune to just remove that, any less expensive ways to make those codes go away?

Don't think so. By moving the cats farther away from the heads they take longer to heat up and are going to throw codes. Needs to be tuned out.

Default No

Go to the Scan and Tune section of this forum and find someone in your area that has tuning software who can do what you need for alot less money than a $500 dyno tune.

Try letting the car warm up for a few minutes. If I idle for a couple of minues and shift early (which I have to do before the supercharger warms up) you shouldn't throw a code. Just let the sensors heat up before you get on it.

I've heard you can try to put a sleeve around them as well and open them up a little more to get them to heat up faster.
