Default OEM brake pads

Is there a difference between OEM brake pads used on base brakes and those on Z51/F55 brakes? Or even between Z51 and F55?

I don't know which pads came from which car, but they're obviously different. Also the size/shape of the low pad warning spring.

There is no diffrence in size and shape, I can not tell you if GM used a diffrent compound, I highly doubt it. At any rate looks like you need new pads I will be happy to help you out with a set of Carboteh brake pads.

Thanks, but neither set are currently on my car. I'll consider other pads when mine start getting thin.

The size/shape was only refering to the spring clip used as the low pad warning device, not the pad itself.

Disregarding compound, the visual differences were the clips and the two grooved pad vs. a single groove.
