The difference between a 2005 and all other model years is that your 2005 has a way to turn your passenger airbag on/off via the manual switch in the glove compartment.
Starting in 2006 they put in a PPS (Passenger Presence Sensor) in the passenger seat bottom so the airbag turns on/off automatically depending on whether somebody is sitting there or not.
So...I think that even if you put a later model year seat in you shouldn't have any problem. If you put a 2005 in a later car you would have problems unless you transfer over the PPS.
All C6 seats should fit.
