Hello to all, first time user and here is my question. Does anyone have issues accelerating (flooring it) with no response almost like a flooding feeling like when one accelertes hard in neutral?

my 2011 gs a6 has a slight pause from 'flooring it' to actual engine rev. pause is less than a second, like 'are you sure?' pause. fly-by-wire not like old days of solid linkage w/acc-pump response.
slight pause is normal. longer pause than 1/3-1/2 sec isnt 'normal'.

Thanks chevy Dave for the response. It's a stall that I have to pull from the accelerator then punch it again. It's not always the case but it's become increasingly an issue. Usually second time it responds as usual. Its as if someone revs an engine in neutral and the engine cuts off not to damage itself but when in drive.

So.... your not actually spinning tires when engine reduces power? Traction Control System (TCS)
The traction control system limits wheel spin. The system turns on automatically every time the vehicle is started.
. To turn off traction control, press and release button 1 time on the console. (pic of car with tire marks)
try 1 time press and your 'flooring it', caution you will most likely spin tires without engine caring until you hit red-line or back off.

No, for example today I was going about 70 on the freeway when I decided to give it full throttle but the engine had no response then on second turn it responsed as usual but traction control was on.

i'm wondering if you are referring this to the drive by wire delay compared to say an old throttle cable type setup
to me its a major pain in the butt, but then again i'm very used to older carb setups
i can recommend you get in touch with Chuck at CoW and see about his package tune, especially the Booster, which changes that instantaneous response, kindda makes it like the old cable type of response
