Yeserday I saw an article on G-FORCE that claimed a gain in HP of up to 60. A 4-7 improvment in MPG. All this was guranteed. Has anyone had expirence with this product. Sound to good to be true.
Out of curiousity, why won't it work exactly? If it tricks the computer to think the IAT's are a lot lower and therefor less timing is being pulled, wouldn't that essentially generate more power?
60 hp is total bs but 5hp is very obtainable I think.

For the record I would never do this.
True..you are correct....its kinda like when you first start your car on that cold morning and it seems to have more power. So if this entices one to to send a false signal to get power, that's fine, it isn't my preference, but to each his own, i won't knock down someone who wants it. Just stating the facts.

Lower the IAT temp's will not generate power, but prevent the ECM from pulling timing and reducing power. This starts to happen when the IAT temps reach 86*F. The idea of pulling timing is to prevent detonation in the warmer to hot climates.
You are better off installing a true CAI which will help keep the IAT's down and lean out the pig rich WOT A/F ratio which will then add hp.

So if the ECU is pulling timing when the IAT reaches 86 degress to prevent detonation, I wonder what happens if you trick the ECU, then it doesn't pull timing, then you get detonation? Ouch.

The KR sensors better have their $hit together and pull the timing or you'll break something.

I also saw it the other day, I called and tryed to ask questions, the guy said just buy it. When is someone going to start stinging these con artist up. It's a shame when people like that get away with possibly harming someones engine.
