I had Chuck from Corvettes of Westchester intall his throttle booster into by Z06 at the Bash this weekend. I think it is a great mod, the gas pedal is so much more precise, and responsive. Makes the heal/toe
shifting, braking much easier also. Takes a little getting used to, but once you do it feels like driving a linkage equipped car, very quick throttle response. He can adjust the sensitivity to your liking. Look him up at the Bash if you're still there on Sunday , he's at the motel across the street from museum entrance A.
I have driven a couple with the enhancer from COW, Works great. Takes a little time to get used to driving as it is so much more responsive. Everyone seems to be happy with the COW tune and throttle enhancer.

Chuck Cow will be coming to Oklahoma June 16 NCCO car show and surrounding days to do his magic. Located in Norman, Central located it will make it a easy drive for most. I am anxious to try it myself. I have heard so much about it. I have a a6 and I have heard that he can really make a difference with them.
I had the pleasure to meet chuck a few mouths ago, he.s a cool guy and he was more than happy to talk to me about my g8 and the cow boost, anyway he hooked his labtop into the ecu of my car and next thing u know my car was trying to break the tires loose after a normal start the cow boost really makes my g 8 feel like a diffeent car much more fun to drive the power hits right off the bat in the low rpm range
thanks chuck hope to see ya soon for that performance tune!
Agree 100% with 1st 2 posters. It takes a couple of days to get used to but once you do you will be shocked @ the improvement. I had chuck leave my normal mode stock and program the booster for all the modes (TC off, Comp Mode, All off). I frequently forget to go to TC off when driving on the street and it takes but 1 application of the throttle to realize I forgot.
I am @ the point where I honestly wouldn't want the car, if it didn't have the booster.

I don't see why people tune just their throttle response. What's next? A reverse gear booster? "Well it always felt kind of sluggish backing out of the driveway so I had it boosted"
I had a complete mail order tune done from ECS ($100 after Trinity purchase) which improved my thottle response AND actually made the car faster.

Because a normal 'tune' doesn't do anything for your throttle response. This is in addition to an enginer tune. I had just the booster installed and it was dramatic on my stock car!! When I get my ARH Headers, Chuck WILL be doing a full tune for me and I think I'll have him dial up my CoW Booster a bit also!!

I didn't say I just had the throttle response tuned. I just commented on the booster. In fact, I already had the complete engine and tranny tune in before the booster.

I've had a full tune for years before the booster...

Define "normal" tune. My throttle response is killer now, no delay and feels very linear. I got what I asked for thanks to ECS. You can also adjust your throttle response yourself and get rid of that lazy "big old buick" feel through HPTuners, just ask for Chris or PM Joe_G on this forum.

You chose your way to achieve your goal...others chose another...what is the problem???
The OP is happy with their car...
The problem is some people still think there is only one way to do this. If the OP is happy to pay more than I did yet have the car be no faster than before, hey to each his own.
