Replacing Non-Bose C6 Speakers
I'm looking to replace my front and rear speakers in my non-Bose C6. I've read quite a few threads on here, but just walk away confused. I've seen a few threads that keep mentioning the 10" woofer in the doors. Are those in the non-Bose systems as well or just on the Bose equipped vehicles. I'm pretty sure my driver's side door speaker is on the verge of blowing, so that's my primary motivation for changing them out. Recommendations for a brand to buy are also greatly appreciated. I don't plan on adding an amp or anything. I prefer the car to make the noise and not the stereo, so I don't need anything too over the top. Better than stock would be nice though.
Also, how hard is it to change out the speakers yourself? Are there any good DIY "cheat sheets?"

I used the doubleD kicker package on my 1LT and I'm happy with the results. I also pulled the center speaker. Its not too hard...just take your time. It helps to get some panel poppers. While you are at it might as well throw on some dynamat.
