Manually Moving Power Seats
Hey guys,
I've posted about this issue before but never had any luck with getting it fixed, and I've simply not had the chance to take care of it. I have a 2005 with memory seats and telescoping steering wheel, but unfortunately my power seats do not move, nor does the telescoping wheel. I've checked all of the fuses in the past and I think my problem is my memory module. The major problem is that my seat is stuck in a position that does not allow me access to the bolts to get the seat out of the car.
At this point I'm willing to try anything to get the seats to either move, or to get the bolts out. I've tried all sorts of special wrenches and sockets, with no luck at moving the rear bolts. What I'm wondering is if anyone knows where I can apply power (if I can with the memory module not functioning) to get the seat to move either up or forward...either direction will allow me to get the bolt out.
