Need help with code P0601
Purchased 05 with 22,000 miles. Drove for 1000 miles , no problems. Today normal driving car just shuts down will eventually re-start but after several miles shuts down again. Flashes reduced eng. power & service traction syst. Friend checked trouble code P0601 Internal control module memory check sum error. Any advice prior to a visit to dealer?
