yea I love the smell of corn in the morning lol.... what did you mean from political ****???

bigger injectors and a fuel pump was all I needed for the conversion and obviously a retune. on straight e85 gas mileage was still pretty decent.

I wouldn't mind just an intake and exhaust, header all the way back with a stanced look and some 19x12s in the back.

any one care to chime in on what a intake, header/exhaust and a tune, manual c6 does on a street tires? 1/4 mile wise?

I think a 12 flat would be respectable.

Bolt on LS3 should be an easy 11 with decent street tires and a competent driver. These cars are not easy to take down the track and it will take some time to get used to how best to launch it. Check up on rangeracceleration.com and do some reading. He's one of the best out there and is nice enough to provide a website that details his techniques.

12 flat will be easy enough with that setup.

If you have a LS3 there are no fuel upgrades needed for E85 - Fill up tank, and tune

I ran a 11.99 at 122mph with a 2.1 60" this year
Modes: Headers, E85 tune

check out my video!

hell yea that is... had no idea it was that easy.... header and an intake along with a cam

3500 worth of bolts and a tune should be real nice....

hmm let me call RPT and see what they say.

well I used cheap to loosely, i wanted answers but not like well just build a 454 ci big block and a blower and a hit of nitrous type stuff.

I know 3500 dollars isn't big boy status but that's what I got for now, trying to hustle with my little E4 pay and make some decent numbers at the same time lol

but surprisenly a cam/head package could be had for pretty cheap, a decent header from TSP and an e85 tune looks like the combo for a good time.

I would personally skip on heads as the OEM LS3 heads do very well with cam-only setups. If you really want heads, I would get some nice AFR or Trickflows because they'll a) make more power, b) reposition the valves to allow for mill/thinner gasket WITHOUT having to cut the pistons, and c) resale value is substantially higher-you'll get most of your money back if you decide to sell and you can put your OEM heads back on.

Just my $.02 though. $3500 will get you intake, headers, cam kit, and maybe a tune, depending on the header choice and whether or not you do the install yourself.

I've been as fast as 10.67@129 with the mods in my sig.

Good luck!

Justin is my name

I'm looking for a reliable settup with strong numbers for now (E85 and bolt-ons). I am avoiding the cam because I want to boost the car next year. Cam's are nice, but they don't get you boss hog numbers like a Turbo/Supercharger do.

I would never waste money on heads, personally.

Too little bang for the buck. The LS3 heads are awesome.

yea I just got off the phone with Brian and it looks the procharger is the easiest, best bang for the buck.

unless I could get a decent intake and header used for cheap, suspension and wheels looks like it'll be it until income tax time or just get promoted already

Whose procharger kit? The Dallas Performance kit that they do with a procharger is top notch

I'd look into the A&A kit, personally. Very affordable and has an awesome intercooler setup.
